I have a 2000 DII. 156K on it. Runs solid. No major repairs needed. Just replaced starter. A/C just gave out but probably get that fixed for about 150. Needs some cosmetic attention. Paint, etc. Regular title in Texas.

What kind of cosmetic work? That can kill you, as it's the same as curb appeal when you're trying to sell a house.
Heads done yet? Seats torn? Trashed carpet? Maintenance records?

Stu some fading on the hood and roof. Sides are dark Epson Green. Heads have never been done. Driver seat has a little tear. All others are perfect. Carpet is perfect. No maintenance records. I have owned this car since 2002. I am the 2nd owner.
Also A/C is electrical. I have a shop here that gets it running for $150. Maybe even less next time I take it.
Polish it up, get the a/c fixed, and throw it on craigslist for $3k. Someone that doesn't know any better might bite.
