Hi all,
Just went underneath to check what nipples I have to grease and I noticed something that I haven't really noticed before.
On the rear differential, there's a bit of angle plate bolted to the bottom of the diff with two large rubber "whatever" (around 3" in diameter) and this bit of angle iron has a steel cable going to the diff
Is this some transport thing that the dealer forgot to take off in the pre-delivery check?
I have looked at what it could possibly be used for and from what I can see, it does absolutely nohting.
It's in a 99 D2 with SLS and ACE.
Can I remove this? Can I? Can I?
Cheers
Erron
