Wheel alignment

I just replaced the tires on the LR3, but have not done the wheel alignment. Can the wheel alignment be done on a non rover shop, or is it specifically at a LR dealer?

Ofcourse the dealer would be the best place to have it done but other shops should be capable of doing it.

Anyone can physically do the alignment, but that doesn't mean they will do it right. The vehicle needs to be put into "tight tolerance mode" in order to stay at the correct ride height while adjusting the alignment. I would definitely take it somewhere that has experience with Land Rovers that are fitted with air suspension.

Many "tire stores", even those that work with 4WD cannot do a 4-wheel alignment on a LR3. I bought tires at a Les Schwab store in Helena, MT and was told that they could not do the alignment because they lacked specific LR equipment. I later had it done at an indy shop in Seattle that does a lot of work on LR; so there are places besides dealers (if you are near a large city).
