Good show, I'll try to catch the episode. I find it funny that they either lose money or break even on every car they sell.
I like the show too, saw the p38 episode tonight... I never owned one before, but may have to take a closer look at them.
they've done an RRC show in the past. it's not that they break even or make barely any profit, but they dont even bother to throw in the labor costs. but i wont complain. i'm a fan of anything that keeps a classic car on the road.
Yea, they never make much money at all especially considering all the time that mechanic puts in. I love their "staged" negotiation scenes.
I think the point of it all is to show you (the viewer) how you can find a diamond in the rough and turn it into a fun vehicles with a small investment and a lot of elbow grease. It is how I came to get my Disco and every BMW I have owned.
