Anyone running 255/85/16 on 16x8 steel wheels if so how much trimming did you do and how much lift do you have. Just trying to decide what tires to go with 255s or 285s.

I ran the 255's on a d1 I had and loved them. They tend to be a little taller than the 285's but are narrower which made them easier to stuff and rubbed less. Just my 2 cents.

try some 235 -85
i hanent ran them yet but everyone says they will fit with out any cutting they are about 9.5 or < wide and almost 32" tall depending on brand
