When you park and lock - does the suspension auto lower?

Noticed this on my new 08 LR3, but not on the dealership demo I drove.

When I stop, switch off, get out, then lock the LR3 with the normal lock button on the remote - the LR waits a few seconds then lowers itself down a little on the air suspension.

This is NOT the Land Rover button in operation on the remote, just the LOCK button.

This normal? :wtf:

I did RTFM, but couldn't see anything specific, other than a 'feature' using the LR button on the remote...

any help much appreciated.

Yes that's normal. The air suspension periodically re-levels itself when parked and will fart at you

:smilelol: :smilelol: Farting LR - Classic! :smilelol: :smilelol:

Glad it's a standard feature - probably just didn't pay attention to the loaner, so never spotted it.

Its there as a precaution to keep the bags from being over pressurized and to reset the the car as well they all do it including the sport and the full size.
