Chris - when you zoom in, it's not close to your house?

On the larger view of the map, my area is really far off but when I zoom in it's pretty on target (give or take of course, but overall pretty darn close).

I'm about 17 miles from my pin, but I can see the top of it from my deck.

If I line up my pin with Will's pin, they point to Hollister Hills, (or out to sea ), must be an off-road omen.

having lived in Tokyo for 5 years what I am going to write is fact as of 2001 anyhow:

the Japanese are taught in school that the US was at fault for WWII and that Japan had to invade the hostile Country in order to protect itself.

this was told to us by a Japanese girl who was taking private English lessons from my wife and who had just completed her MBA in a US school.


naturally every Dec 7 as well as every other American holiday, we raised the Flag in front of our house just to piss them off.

I just now that every country teaches different way of Past history of their country.

I think from what we learn, we just need to move on and not make the same mistake.
