Where to buy stepper motor?

Go to Napa, or whereever, and ask for a '87 Buick Grand National idle control valve. Thats the stepper that you need for a 14CUX (94-95) Disco or RRC (all).

Go to the right about one arrow-head-width, and where that black pipe goes into the plenum is the stepper motor. This adjusts air flow (using the ecu) so that when you turn on lights/ac/gear, the engine idle speed is maintained. Its lets in more air, and then the computer compensates by addine more fuel. Mine was stuck open.

I have adjusted the base idle control, there was no blanking plate on mine, but I need to fix the stepper before I can do that properly.

delco part will do. Or you can get rover tech approved one from motorcars-ltd.com for like 47$ .

napa says they have one in stock. Its the same part number (21738) that MM said, and from the guy's description it sounds like the one. He said it was for the RR 3.9, so I think its the same.

Its $53, so I'll pick it up this afternoon.
