Where to check for cigarette plug short

hi,

my cigarette plug is intermittently on and off. what places should i check for the short? all other electronics workin.

Right behind the cigeritte lighter it has two small wires that plug into it if one has a loose connection that is your short (first place I would check), but this may require taking center concole apart to get to it.

You may have looked at this already, but, replace the fuse for it too.
