I may have misunderstood the question, but I think he was asking what wire to cut to make the cdl and abs work together, not which wire to tap into to turn the light on.
The wire is one in the same. The diff lock switch activated the light on the dash and tells the SLABS ECU.
I do believe, however, that this only works with the 03-04 slabs ecu, as they are set up to function with the difflock. For pre 2003 discos, in the discovery2.co.uk instructions, it explains cutting the wire to pin 9, which does not disable the abs, tc and hdc when the vehicle is started with the difflock engaged.As the op has an 01, (which I missed, doh)mbrummal said:

True. If you engage the diff lock while the key is on, though, it wont fully disable everything. This could be useful to some. Those systems aren't fully disengaged unless the diff is locked when the key is turned. (on 99-02 of course).
