Is Tayloe also J. Toronado?

I always wondered why the good folks in charge of the dweb forum found it neccesary to have something called an "ignore list".

Now I know why.

If that is the same guy, I don't feel bad about misspelling his name.

The top couple of inches had dried in the sun, so it looked hard. Seems that a drilling company used the abandoned missile pits to illegally dispose of drilling mud, some still in bags. With years of rain, it overflowed and flooded the surroundings a foot or more deep.

This was one property I assigned a negative land value. Removing several acres of 24" blast-hardened, reinforced concrete gets a tad expensive.

First: Tayloe's not a bad guy.

Second: maybe he had to put a price in the ad? I'm pretty sure he shuttled hospital workers during the storm--I doubt he charged them.

Third: We would never even consider taking money.
From a liability standpoint (almost ripped the front plastic off a Nissan in Lynchburg once trying to help him up my neighborhood hill) and second from a good karma stand.

After the mess of the 19th, our next door neighbor drove down to his work and got his skid loader and drove it back to our neighborhood to help clear people out. He worked all day Sunday driving that thing after he and Ivan helped a couple people get their 2wd vehicles out of the ditch. Hell, even the guy two houses down who never talks to anyone walked his snowblower over clearing a path for the mail Jeep and helped our other next door neighbor clear his drive in case he needed to go see his wife at the hospital.

Sooo... the man who voted for the man who wants to give our hard earned money to unfortunates with no insurance or ambition, is willing to charge unfortunates for his help.
Now that's a class act.

Shhhh.....ignore the man behind the curtain.

The Lou!
If ya'll need to borrow $40 to have Tayloe pull you out of the snow just give me a yell. I've started a charity to help pay for stuck trucks all over the world.

A tax exempt charity at that!

Went to the store because I was out of beer and had some dill weed stop in the middle of 33 for no reason. When I went around them to turn off they speed up. Go ahead, hit that rear bumper! I dare ya!:D
Snowing and 15 degrees, you don't have to clear your truck off, it just falls off.
Nice and toasty in the house with beer and the big dog to keep me warm.
Poor Tamy is coming home from FLA tommorrow. I didn't have the heart to tell her what the weather is like here.

Anyone stuck today?
I'm stuck at home. There's about 6 inches of snow here in Maryland. I'm staring at the pile of fun stuff I was taking for the ABM after party. Things like liquor filled chocolates and a bag of Mardi Gras beads :)

I wasn't, but I pulled a 26,900 pound tractor trailer up a good size hill on Rt. 29 with a 3500 Chevy with a duramax. I wasn't supposed to be doing that this time since I snapped the receiver hitch off during the last big storm and got in trouble, but that truck was loaded and I was jerking it and the one today was empty with a dead pull. I decided I wouldn't even take a tow strap out with me this morning so I wouldn't be tempted, but a passing fire truck had a strap so I decided to say fuck it.

You're hardcore.

I'd just called J Toronado.... ;)

We've got 8" on the ground here in Aygusta Co. and it's still coming down a little bit, we'll probably have close to 9" when it's done.
