White Zebra Stripe DII in Savannah???

Friday night my wife and I were going back to our house on Tybee Island and got passed by a DII with zebra stripes. The truck had a lift, adventure rack, etc. No spare tire on the rear door...was on the rack.

Good looking rig....just wondering if anyone here knew who it was....

I know who it used to belong to. The gentleman who owned it passed away a couple of years ago. It was an untimely death, a really nice guy. The Zebra was sold by his father who was overseeing his estate. It's outfitted with Air Lockers, Super Swampers, SafariGard front and rear bumpers, Hannibal Roofrack, Hella 4000 HIDs. I believe that the Zebra came from Tennessee oringally. Anyway, I used to live in Savannah, and worked for Rover in Hilton Head. I know most of the rovers there. Hope you enjoy Tybee!

when I was younger I use to pass by a white DII outfitted like that about a mile away from my house in nashville, they also had an excursion that was lifted and had SG bumpers i think

I just saw it again on the island.

Really cool, good looking rig.

I have to get over to LR Hilton Head soon, have heard some good things about them.

When you get over to LR Hilton Head, ask for Mike Hughes in Service and Dave McWilliams in Sales. There is also Mike Shay in parts, and Debbie (the English woman) is the office manager. They are a great team, although they've gone through some staff mix-ups recently. I worked there for 3 years from opening until leaving this past December to move back to NC with my wife for her work. How do you like Tybee? We used to live in downtown and in Ardsley Park. Take it easy?

Thanks for the tips....I appreciate it. Hopefully my transition to a new dealer will be a good one.

We love living out here...part of me and my wife want to move to an area like Ardsley or Kennsington Park. Those are just really cool areas to us and a lot closer to work.

How often does LRHH do events? Where do they go?

I would love to be able to go on some rides with them. Just finding someone locally to go on rides with has been more challenging that I thought....

Unfortunately, there aren't really that many places to go wheelin' around Savannah and Hilton Head. Most of the land is privately owned. I have a few good friends down there. If you want, drop me a PM with your phone number, and I'll put you in touch with a few people.
