Have to admit, though I'm against 'em within the SEC, I'm glad they took care of business last night.
Same w/ the upcoming UF/OS game.... I like Ohio, I always pull against Florida in the SEC, but between the two, I'd like to see the Gators come out ahead....

That deer in the head light look of coach Weis wearing an Addidas warmup with a dickie was glorious. He lost the game the minute they stepped off the bus. The commentators said it right when asked what does Weis have to do to get ND back to the top... "get some better players". And the next thing is a spot on TV to vote for Quinn as Player of the Year. WTF??? ESPN and alumni may buy Notre Dame a BCS bowl every year, it shows you gotta win it on the field.
Now the gators need to wip that buckeye ass and prove to the rest of the world once and for all the SEC is king of football. Then give the BCS championship trophy to Auburn for fucking them sideways in 04 and since they are the only team to beat both LSU and Florida this year.

I sincerely hope the Gators whip Ohio's ass much like LSU did ND. Although I wouldn't not have minded the LSU game being a little closer just to make it interesting, but what can you do when the quarterback has a rocket for an arm and is deadly accurate the majority of the time!

However, there should be an adendum to that saying "if your mediocre and not ranked you have a good shot"

How true, the SEC, Big 12(not so much lately), and Big Ten+1, beat each other to death then play a championship game on top of that.
While if ND beats the armed forces and BC they get in the BCS. How nice was it earlier this year that for the first time in like 16 years a ND game was not televised.
Then they come out to set a new consectutive bowl loss record. (9). Just shows what happens when a non conference teams has to step up big at the end.
This same scenario can work out the other way though, ie Boise State. Yes, their conf ws light, but to go undefeated is still something. And then to win a game no one gave you a chance in, that says a lot.
