wierd radio problem

my radio will not play on fm when the truck is cold.after about 4 or 5 minutes it works fine.its been doing it for about a year, summer time its hot here so its not a problem then.it also does the same thing when i switch from cd to fm, no fm radio for a couple minutes, but it does it regaurdless of temp when switching from cd.
94DI, has anyone else had this problem & been able to fix it without buying a new radio?

hmmm... could be a cold solder connection that is contracting with the cooler weather... Once had a similar issue in an amateur UHF radio... traced the pc board to the area controlling the feature and found a bad solder point... heated it up with ultra fine point tip, melted it... problem went away...
