I am curently looking to buy a Equipe winch bumper with the fitting steering guard. Any take on this from anyone, or if there is a similar bumper that I could have a look at.

Any of you have an idea who carrys this brand in North America or would it be best to order direct from Italia.

Thanks all.

I don't think you can order from Italy, but you might want to check.

I have the SR bumper on my DI and I love it. Great departure angle and strong as hell.

You can find a pic of my DI on June's issue of LRM NA.

I was in Quebec city last summer and this spring. If I head back this summer I can show you the bumper.

Good luck.

I will probably stop by the book store on the way home to see your rig, and if you comme to Quebec city later you defenetly have to give me a shout, be glad to show the best the city has to offer.

As for your bumper, where is the best place to be looking for one regarding price and service.

Thanks

Pat,

Are you looking at the tubular bumper or the square one?

Right now we are out of the Extreme Tubular Winch bumper but should have them in next month. The tubular bumper comes in the A/C and non-A/C configuration.

I love Quebec city, only problem is all the garages are too low for my truck.

I think it was made in TX not sure of manufacture. It is a close resemblance to the Scorpion racing bumper.
Here is another shot.

The Scorpion bumper doesn't stick out so much.

That is hideous! Absolouley awful!

If you are feeling brave and fancy ordering from the uk, have a look at http://www.devon4x4.com/shop.php?mode=productview&product=86 They do some excellent stuff. The lowline winch version isnt pictured but they do it in aircon and non aircon versions.

I endedd up selling the bumper about 2 years ago I wasnt happy with the protection in the corners.
I have an ARB now but not happy with the approach angle.

I would definetly make my own if I had the tools and aptitude.

I hope to take a ride up to Quebec City in September. Its a nice place to visit.

I thought about the ARB myself buf like you I dont like the aproach angle.

I will be making mine cause I am buying a welder this weekend at CanadianTire (MigPack15@550$cdn) and will have to make this investment payoff. I will post all my technical drawing here as I get started and hope to get some feedback.

On an other note, would you be kind enough to post a picture of you bonnet tire holder. I think I have all the hardware for it just no instruction for it.

If you do come to Quebec City let me know I know a few place for nice or hardcore wheeling.

Thanks

Pat

Hey retrofit,

I ordered 4 Equipe bumpers ( 1 Disco and 3 Def ) about 2 months ago from Red Rino in Florida. I sent them an email a couple of days ago and havent heard back yet! Looks like I'll have to call them again.
The scorpion bumper is a knockoff of the Equipe. Good approach angle and very tough.

I cant find any decent pics of the roll cage you asked about but heres one. We should be hooking up this weekend and I'll get some close up shots of the dent on the carrier.
