Winch Power Connections - LR3

Just installed an ARB Bull Bar and a Warn XD9000 on my '05 LR3. The positive connection for the winch is easy. Where are people connecting the negative lead? I found a couple of chassis grounds but would rather have it connected to more substantial ground. I can't see an easy way to properly connect to the negative terminal on the battery via an engine ground point or something similar.

Any help from LR3 owners would be appreciated!!

i'd replace the negative post terminal on battery and ground it to the batt

Not sure how you could get anything more "substantial" than the chassis? Just ensure a good connection. That's where mine is grounded to.

Thanks for input guys. Just trying to make sure I wasn't overlooking the "winch ground point" fitting or something LR had designed in!

Going to drill and tap the negative battery post bar for attaching the cable directly to it.
