do you have a winch on the front of your truck?
do you go through deep water?
then make damn sure that when you are done that you disengage your winch handle and run it for a few minutes in and out, the heat will evaporate the water left in the motor, no electric motor is completey water proof, and if you have to replace a winch motor after the 1year warranty is up on the electric portion of the winch(WARN) it will cost $331.84 P&L. more or less depending on your service center.
( i hear it now, thats why i use hydraulic units, and they are right) but they have their own special issues now dont they.
