Window regulator??????

Have a '97 Disco, driver side regulator that is broken, have the part on order but can I take it out without removing the motor or do I need to remove both? Any other tricks to know before doing?

It's easy enough to remove the entire assembly. Swap the motor on to the new regulator and carefuly reinstall.
