It's a fine example of hiding in plain site. No one thought to look for a body there!

i tinted my last cars windows, loved having tints. more privacy, cooler temperatures. it was no where near limo tint, but it wasn't totally legal either. I've opted not to tint my rover, after driving around in the woods at night, attempting to back up among other things can be difficult without tint as far as vision goes.

Gots to have the windows tinted. Just feels naked without them, plus in summer it does feel a lot hotter without it. But then again, in FL there is no regs on how dark u can get em...

Oooooh, I had limo tint on all the rear windows of my black 2001 BMW. Good thing I was never in the backseat alone like this chump.....

I got a ticket for window tint exceeding the limit about 15 years ago. Had blackout tint all around on my pickup. Stoopid motorcycle cop got me on i-17 while driving to work. His little meter said the windows were 2.9%, if I remember correctly.

I got pulled over and they did the window tint meter deal on my fronts and they were too dark (as I knew full well when I had them tinted). They were mid-way between limo and legal. Thankfully he didn't ticket me or scar the tint...I've heard of pricks scraping up illegal tint jobs so that you have no choice but to replace it. I still haven't tinted the Disco, will have to do that here next month.

Window tinting heh?

City tickets car seven times, no one spots dead guy in back seat
Autoblog

Let this be a warning to those of you who tint your car windows (at least in Gainesville, FL): If you die in the back seat, it may be a while before you're found. A man from Gainesville, FL went missing on February 11 and was found this past Monday deceased in the back passenger-side seat of his 2001 BMW 330i. The car had apparently been parked illegally and was ticketed seven times – SEVEN TIMES! – before anyone noticed its owner sitting dead in the back seat. . .

. . the windows on the car were tinted darker than the law allows, which prevented ticket officers from noticing the corpse riding shotgun in the back. . .

The $64K question . . is. Did he also get a ticket for window tint?

I've seen the cops make the mini truckers peel the tint off the bottom of the windshield, but I think that was more of them being pricks than a safety issue. that was back when we were cruising Central.
