Frequently, I get the message "Windows not set" or "Sunroof not set" on the dash of my '97 RR. This morning, i got the sunroof not set message. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

If you have your owner's manual, it will tell you how to do it. If not, when message "windows not set" comes up, roll down and up completely each window. Same with the "sunroof not set" message, move sunroof completely back then forward, then put it in the up position then down. Hopefully this sets the windows and sunroof, may have to repeat procedure. Have you messed with you battery lately? Unhooking your battery will cause this message along with having to code in the radio. But if you have it coming on frequently, then you might have a problem somewhere else and hopefully its not the BECM acting funny.

Also, make sure with the sunroof that you push the back button twice. There is a preset stop in the roof where you can prevent the buffeting noise. You have to press again to go past it.

Thanks for the help. I tried it with the sunroof, and It'll go up just fine, but I can't get it to go back more than about an inch, it seems jamed or something. Anyone know what to do about this?
