damn you guys wait till mid march so I will be back at the beach.

You moving back to Wilmington? I've considered driving down there but it's a long haul and I've only had the Disco a couple of months so not sure what if anything will break.

It's that Wilmington effect people just can't stay away. :) I just got a job offer in Raleigh so I'll be moving this summer after I'm done with Grad School.

Raleigh isn't far, I think Raleigh sucks but I am partial to the beach. What do you do? How long have you been in Wilmington?

Currently not much of anything other then working on the Rover. I'm working on my MSA right now at UNCW. I moved to Wilmington in 93 when I transfered to UNCW. That's when I played Rugby with Mark I think that's how we met one time at MAR 2004. I then moved way for about 5 years and worked up in NYC and Philly area. I moved back in 2004

I like Wilmington but I got a job offer with KPMG so I'm moving to Raleigh.

You're friends with Ingham, that guy cracks me up. I left ILM last January and it sucked being back in StL, so we are packing up and heading back. I hated that Marc moved up to Raleigh, he was a good beer drinking buddy, now I only hang with him several times a year. Do you still hang with the Rugby guys?

I would not go that far I only saw him that one time at the MAR since we used to play together. But we know each other.

Unfortunatly I got married and stopped playing and then lost touch with the guys. Especially after I moved to NYC. They where good times though.

9 and 11th of Feb?
Err, that didn't make much sense did it...

I meant the weekend of the 9th. I'd probably make a day trip out of it seeing as I'm so close, but who knows. What does everybody else plan on doing?

I'm available Jan 26/27 or any weekend in March ..... Count me in for the March trip if one opens up... I travel from Harrisburg, PA down to Savannah once a month, I usually take work truck (Ford F150) but can easily tow, or drive the DII down.

I called Gulches. I reserved camping for 15 trucks. Feb 9th-11th. They said they have plenty of camp sites left.

Feb. 10th is what I am telling everyone. So that is it. There were two local guys that were interested. A guy from Columbia with a disco and a another local with a 88.

The 10th is when I am coming.

I'll be coming up from Cola on the 10th most likely with a second driver that has a stock LWB. If the weather is good I'd like to camp with the rest of you as well - provided there are sites left.

For those of you who haven't been there before, I would consider alternative sleep arrangements (or at least call for conditions) if there is any measurable amount of rain that week as the sites are right along the river bank and things tend to get really sloppy down there (and potentially dangerous). I would definitely consider alternative arrangements if it's going to rain at night.

I will also be attending the first event there at the end of February (details on the Gulches site). For future reference, it might be cool to plan a group outing during a weekend Gulches competition - that way you can watch/compete and then camp later on that night and the whole park is still available while the competition is going. Competition is broken into classes by tire size so you'll be competing with like equipped vehicles. Skip told me that LR's are the least represented group at that park so it would be nice to get some support going.
