Hey guys and gals

The chicago land rover club is taking a snow wheeling trip to the crivits Wis Mc Caslin mt area next weekend.

we will be up there from the 27th to the 1st and it looks like it is shaping up to be a good sized trip.

the condition are shaping up with more fresh snow this week and the area has everything from simple 2 tracks to rock crawling up steed chutes at mccaslin.

I think I just creamed my pants...

Thursday: Snow, mainly after noon. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 30. North wind 5 to 8 mph becoming northeast between 13 and 16 mph. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of around 5 inches.[/B]
Thursday Night: Snow and areas of blowing snow before midnight, then snow likely and areas of blowing snow after midnight. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 6. North northeast wind between 15 and 18 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 20.

Wish I could have joined you guys, but I'm just finally getting my stuff moved into the house on wed. Before any wheeling I have to replace a grenaded CV.

Oh and for the chicago rover club I ended up finding a place in Mchenry IL. I would check in on the board but the only internet I have is at the office right now and the club page is restriced for some reason here.

Yeah I had pretty well lost my voice by then...going into the weekend I had a scratchy throat then screaming directions all day friday spotting people finnished it off:(

It was a great weekend with just awsome conditions. On the way to the top we were busting through some really deep snow with many layers of frozen crust :D

I'm here and I'm going to be deployed as well leaving end of august, wife couldn't take living with my parents so we ended up getting a place.
