OK, so speedo started acting weird today. Would jump around from 30-60mph and eventually settle in at 60 when I got up to speed. Searched speedo and VSS threads and came to conclusion that is probably the VSS that is starting to act up. (Truck has 170k on it and runs like a bear, even with the occasionally spastic speedo)
However, this truck had an LT230 swapped in by a prior owner. I don't know what year it is and how that may affect which VSS I should look for as a replacement. Can I tell from anything on the transfer case? My last LWB still had the BW in it so these LT230 swaps are new to me. Thanks!
