work boots

In my new job, I will be spending a lot of time in factories and process plants. I will need new boots for work. My requirements are

No laces
Black
Safety toe
Comfortable.
Somewhat Professional looking
inexpensive......well sort of

I know redwing is supposed to be good, but I am trying to see if there are cheaper options out there

The first thing that comes to mind, though, are tanker's boots, but you can't wear them.

If you are under 30 you will look like you suffer emotional distress as a result of never being understood. If you are over 30 you will look like you have suffered a sexual side-effect.

Redwing

+1 for red wings. These are what I wear for my current job on the railroad. They hold up well and are pretty comfortable after a 10 hr shift walking around. I lucked out though and only had to pay 1/2 price as a company discount.

they used to be a lot cheaper though. Danner/LaCrosse Boots has really become proud of their products over the past 15 years.

they've held up well over the past few years and you can always paint them black =D
