Would an ARB Bumper for a Classic be close enough to fit on a P38

Because that's where the radiator and cooler hang.


I'm just amazed that 4 years later this terrible idea has come to fruition.

I agree. One of the reasons to get a better bumper is to improve approach angle. That bumper looks bulky and IMHO awful. :ack:

Alan's bumper is the way to go. It sticks out a bit on the sides, but overall a good clean design. I also have a buddy who is fabricating a P38 bumper, but I haven't seen his initial sketches. We will see when he has it done in a month or so.

Alan's (rockrover.com) rear bumper is sweet! I would get a rear bumper before a front as it is more practical for me. I am always on the lookout for a factory winch tray.

Another big benefit of a stout front bumper is recovery points. The P38 lacks them.
