I have a 99 D2 Oxford Blue/ Tan leather that I would consider letting go for $3500. New heads and all gaskets replaced less that 100 miles ago.

34" BFG MT's
2" Rovertym Lift w/ OME shocks and 1" RH Spacers
CDL Installed
New plugs, wires, tranny flush, full synthetic, diff fluid and bunch of other stuff done in the last 2 weeks
Optima red top
Brembo Drilled rotors w/ EBC pads
Stainless braided lines all around
Bunch of other random shit as well. Let me know if you want some pics. Location is Albuquerque.

I've got a 2000 D2 with the 4.6 swap(60k on motor/108k on truck), cdl enabled, arb winch bumper, rovertym sliders, safety devices rack, ladder, 2" rovertym lift, 265/75/16 tires, and misc. hella lighting ill sell for $7000 obo. I know its twice as much as you wanna pay but the motor and the upgrades weren't cheap. If you want a truck that is off-road tested and ready for the trails, let me know. It is throwing the SES light for a low knock sensor input voltage though and wont pass emissions in Georgia until I have it looked at. Just haven't had time.

Update- Woke up this morning and found that the snow/cold had caused my windshield to crack. It is cracked across the bottom and doesn't block driving visibility. Because of this, the price is now $6600 obo. The 400 drop in price should more than cover the replacement. Will get more pics up asap.

Hey guys. Here are pics I took today. In one of the pics you can see the cracked windshield and in another you can see the poor mans CDL lever. Let me know if you need more.

I also have the jump seats with trim and a set of p38 rims I'll throw in at this price.

To be completely honest, I'd rather not sell it. However, I need a truck for work and could use the extra money as a down payment. As much as I love the rover, it is not very practical for the type of work I do. Soo, you ready to take the rover off my hands?

Deja, who did the swap? How has it been running since?

I am interested but am a little hesitant because of the distance between us. The cost of getting it back to Denver may not be worthwhile. Plus, if there are issues with it, I know they can add up with Rovers. Feel free to PM me we can talk.

My father and I did the swap. The hardest part was getting to the bellhousing bolts. Its a very straight forward swap. Aside from the "low knock sensor input voltage" code, the motor is great. Good power andt torque and passing on the interstate is a lot better. While the motor was out, we replaced the front seal in the tranny since it was leaking. Before purchasing the motor, I contacted LR in Denver and researched the history of the motor by VIN. They said that the motor had been in for service a few thousand miles before it was in an accident and that they had changed the rear mail seal. The seal looked new and free from leaks before install so we didn't bother it. I know its a long drive for it but everything is how I have described it. If you have any relatives in the area, they can come check it out for you and if you are interested still, we can have it shipped if you like. I'm pretty flexible with the sale. Let me know.
