This pique your interest?

'99 D2, mfg 10/98, 105K miles (indicated)

4.11s, TT/DL/CDL, 33s, RTE 3" lift, Bilstein 7100s, ACE extensions front (Dave Lucas) and rear to accommodate lift, PowerChip, Safari Snorkel, RTE front bumper, RTE HD Track Rod and Drag Link, Greg Davis rear bumper, wired for trailer, Steelies and Alloys included, I only ran a K&N for about 10K miles, it has seen OEM paper filters the rest of the time.

First, the bad:

Lots of trail rash on the body and underneath
Needs new bushings all around
Needs new rear output seal on the t-case
Needs new park brake pads (I have them and a drum/backing plate)
Park brake handle acts funny sometimes
Rear output gear on the tcase has more than normal play, but not really any worse than other rovers (just started happening)
Minor seep on the front cover (maybe the front seal?), only leak on the thing except the t-case rear output

The good:

Engine and AT are in excellent shape, I've literally done nothing to the motor except a water pump
Doesn't burn even a quart between changes
New double carden joint in front driveshaft, rear double carden recently serviced, rear shaft is GBR HD, front is rebuilt LR Genuine w/servicable spicer u-joints
New water pump
New battery
EBC all around
Heated seats
Excellent interior except for some minor tears on the pass. side airbag cover
Leather has been consistently treated with LeatheriQue over the last few years.

Until we purchase the RRC recently, with the Revos on it, we had been using it exclusively for our "travel" car when going on trips, gives you an idea of the versatility of this setup on the D2.

Spare Great Divide front bumper I acquired to turn into a winch bumper
255/85 BFG MT with 50% wear

good daily driver with as much offroad capability without starting to sacrifice daily driving comfort and practicality

Has a few electrical issues that could use fixing but they are creature comforts I havent wanted to work on in the cold, cruise control (I think its just the switch now), heated seats, rear defrost switch

I have electric fans I would include, but not installed, spare stock rear bumper some other spares I can't think of right now.

send me an email if you might be interested, i have pictures availible trustedproperties@kc.rr.com

ive got a 97 D1 you can have for $6k. i know its steep, but the mod list is decent, it has under 125k miles, and ive done about $1000 in upgrades in efforts to make it last longer. PM me if interested. also, brand new lift, wheels and tires all less than 3 months old.

its extremely clean, i have ALL dealer service records from 20k miles all the way up to about 110k miles. no TLC needed, its ready to go.

I would buy that truck in a heartbeat! Are you really selling it, or if the opportunity came you would? I'd love to have a 95. Is it SWB or LWB (not sure if they did both in 95)? Not in the cards for me now. Got a pic or two?

yeah, hate to do it but i would sell it if i had a good buyer, i am considering buying a crew cab heavy duty for business purposes

minus the rear bumper its a sleeper, not the biggest lift or tires, but i will keep up with most trucks (i know its not a rock crawler so i don't even go there, not my thing). its a great over the road and then hit the trail truck

yes, its a short wheel base, not going to hit the topic of which wheel base is best, i think it comes down to how many people do you go offroading with. i must smell bad because i rarely get a passenger much less the family to go wheeling with me.

the truck is very nice and i am not going to give it away, but like i said if a good buyer wants a good truck i could use a work truck more often than i need a offroad suv

i "played" with different cb setups on the discovery that i used to owned and then took the lessons i learned from that and set this thing up with proven quality parts that would allow me to keep up with agressive trails but allow me to drive it everyday and on 12+ hour drives to the trails out west and elsewhere

pictures are before the sliders and rear bumper were installed:
