Looking for a very nice no rust DII. Ideally I want kent green as shown in my other listing. To give myself additional chooses I want to see what else might be available. Would love to find a 99-02 LE. Would consider a slightly modified truck but not too much. Needs around 100 or less and in great shape and service history. You do realize that most D2s that fail do so between 75 and 120k? And you want one that has previously failed? I changed my HGs at 180 and kicked myself for it, my trail truck has over 160 and never been touched, but it has been babied.
I have owned 4 discoveries over the years, only one that failed was a 03 with a slipped sleeve...2x. That's why I'm looking for a 99-02. I don't have a clue what your talking about. I'm looking for a truck with 100k or less that has just had its head gaskets done which my understanding is what commonly fails on these trucks. That and the abs mod, drive shaft and MAF.
I'll have a 2003 available pretty soon for sale. 100,xxx miles, VERY clean. Had a coolant leak at the valley pan but I'm doing head gaskets while the top was tore down. Maroon/tan, S wheels, and I think it's a 7 seater (can't remember without going to look). Was going to keep it for myself but I've changed my mind. I have not seen a cleaner truck in a long time.

I now have a nice clean 2004 4.6 Marron over tan/black beast for sale. 107K miles and new rod bearings just installed. Runs and drives great, everything works and it's a good truck... err leaky overpriced ticking time bomb. ha ha
