I'm looking for a DII. Preferably in VA or NC. Year doesn't really matter but would prefer not to have an 03 or anything in the death VIN range. I'll consider any spec with any mods but want stock if possible.
Requirements:
1. Needs to be in working order. (e.g. no three amigos, no CEL, etc., bonus for service history)
2. Needs to have working air conditioning.
3. Any color EXCEPT white.

So I guess your not interested in the White '00 SD I have and that's the only one I have near completion.

I am, but not the wife. She absolutely hates white cars. If it were for me Randy I'd only half require the first stipulation I listed.

Ive got an 04, Blue with tan int, no issues. NY truck but real clean. 120k on the body, but the previous owner spent $8k on a brand new dealer installed (have the records) 4.6 because his wife kept on driving when it overheated. Have been contemplating selling it to fund my RRC build. Have a RRC and cash you'd like to consider? Or just cash? I havent thought about price yet but we can talk.

I may be letting my wife's 04 go cheap very soon. Has a CEL on for an EVAP issue and a slightly leaky driver's side valve cover gasket. AC/Heat work fine, black on black "S" trim 04 model. 175k miles....4.6 runs perfect no noises at all, no oil light etc.

It has been sitting in the garage waiting for me to fix the CEL issue, but I have zero time to work on it.

I have a green 04 SE7 D2 with 82,000 miles. No issues. No warning lights on. Excellent condition, completely stock. In NY, but no rust issues, but some surface rust in areas after this winter. I treat that every spring. $9,500.

Thanks for responses. Also would consider something for sale close to San Antonio, TX.
I know it's waaaaaay out of the way, but there are always nice DII's available here in Idaho. Most are relegated to ExTreme Mall Duty and Costco trips. Never any rust on them unless they came from somewhere else.

Buy one here and drive home. I'd be happy to pick you up at MHAFB.

If your wife would drive an LR3, a buddy of mine has a very nice one for sale. He is a rover mechanic.

Tempting. How much does he want for the LR3?

Thanks for all the replies and emails. I've been toying with the idea of different cars based on size and price. Other options that I liked were the 2004 E320 wagons, passat wagons, and volvo wagons. After much deliberating my wife has convinced me that a Land Rover makes the most sense as I'm familiar and can do repairs and maintenance myself so it would be less stressful.

I can buy ones that are located in VA and NC without any complications right now and have relatives collect them. I'm going to be coming back to the US for a few days in the beginning of April or end of April then moving back on the 20th of May to the NoVa area before driving down to Texas so any of the ones that are not located close to those areas would have to be purchased later rather than sooner or if you have some suggestions on how to ship/deliver to NoVa then that could be worked out. Again, many thanks.
