Looking for a nice 3/8" drive torque wrench, 5 ft-lbs on the low to whatever (most are 80) on high. I don't care all that much about brand, I just want a nice ratchet-style click-type torque wrench.

Thanks!

I started my head gasket job with an inexpensive torque wrench, a $30 spring/click type you describe. Then an inattentive friend wasn't paying close enough attention to the wrench and sheared the head off a valve cover bolt. From that point on I borrowed a Snap-On digital torque wrench that beeped and vibrated when you reached the torque setting. That thing was great but it's a much bigger investment.

Who uses a torque wrench on valve cover bolts?
