Paul, Sorry to hear about those accidents. Brought back memories of a crash I saw back in late 70's where a rider lost his leg after sliding into a telephone pole.
I remember those "jamborees" at Marcus Dairy. Since, I live right near there, got to see the good, the bad, and the stupid of it. Every year it seemed to expand. At some point, the local business started to ban the bikes from parking on their property. Heard the end came around when Danbury wanted the organizer to pay for the extra PD.
