Xyz adjustment?

I just swapped out my original trans to a lower mile unit I picked up from Will. Everything seems good except I can't manually shift down to 1st. I'm guessing the xyz isn't adjusted right? All other gears show up and work fine. I get a blank display when I pull the shifter past 2nd.

Any tips or suggestions on adjusting this? I tried loosening the 2 bolts that hold the xyz to the trans and adjusting it, but it didn't seem to move.

AB has a tool to adjust the switch. However you must use caution when removing the transmission selector shaft nut could be stuck in place.

Yeah I saw that tool. I already took that nut off when I removed the xyz to take the transmission out. I'm going to try loosening that nut along with the 2 that hold the switch.
It only needs a little adjusting to click 1st gear. I just haven't messed with the xyz before so wasn't sure if I was missing something obvious?

Just to be clear, are you physically able to move the shifter through all positions, and it's just the display that goes blank when you move past 2nd gear?

You do not need to loosen the 13mm nut on the selector shaft to adjust the XYZ switch. Just loosen the two bolts with 10mm heads and rotate the switch.

In my opinion, the tool that AB is now selling is overpriced and not needed. I've always been able to eyeball it and get it right, working solo. Better yet is to have an assistant sitting in the driver's seat to move the shifter through the gears after you make small adjustments and retighten the bolts. The assistant can tell you what's in the display.

When I shift out of second gear down to 1 it doesn't quite "click in" and it doesn't show any gear selection on the dash display. I'm used to getting a click When it's in gear.
It's almost like there isn't anything past 2nd. And yes all other gears work and show correctly.
