Yes, another Three Amigos question

Today I installed a SLABS box from an '04 Discovery I picked up locally in my '99 DII, in which I installed an '04 transfer case shifter a few years ago. I wanted the updated SLABS software.

What I didn't foresee is that the donor truck apparently had a Three Amigos problem (whereas my truck does not). Will the Three Amigos clear themselves after a few drive cycles, or do I need an ABS Amigo or other device to clear the stored codes?

I bought an ABS Amigo a few years ago but loaned it to a friend who lost it. Is there anyone in Charlotte or nearby who could clear the ABS codes for me?

From RAVE (emphasis added) --- "After detecting a fault, the SLABS ECU selects an appropriate default strategy which, where possible, retains some operational capability. A shuttle valve switch fault and throttle position signal fault are classified as permanent faults. If a permanent fault is detected, the related warning lamp illumination and default strategies are automatically employed in subsequent ignition cycles, even if the fault is intermittent, until the fault has been rectified and cleared from memory. If a non permanent fault is detected, the related warning lamp illumination and default strategies will only be employed in subsequent ignition cycles if the fault is still present."

Well that answers my question, I guess, although it sucks. Odds are it's a shuttle valve switch fault. So again I ask -- does anyone in Charlotte have an ABS Amigo that I could use to read and clear the fault? Thanks.

Oh hell. Never mind. False alarm.

I went to remove the new SLABS and reinstall the one I had and discovered that the middle of the five connectors was not seated well. I removed and reseated the connector and all now seems good. I took the truck for a short test drive. I engaged the CDL, turned off the ignition, and restarted the truck. The Three Amigos did not illuminate. All seems good.
