Piece of shit??!!

I'll have you know that it uses tactical black paint any tier 1 operator would be envious of! It would be the belle of the ball at any overlanding wine and cheese event! Do you realize how many M4-style weapons you can hang from that thing? There's not a Starbucks on this earth that this truck couldn't get to!!

These people don't by M4's. They like pic rail too much.

I spent a week and a half in Australia earlier this year. There were so many LC builds there, you'd think that there was some sort of down under ExPo event going on.

I kind of like the LC trucks down there that have the ARB bumper, snorkel, and galvanized bed.

Which one? There were/are many.

ECR
Himalaya
Icon
Arkonik (maybe?)
A bunch of smaller players around the country

It was a USA company. None of those mentioned above. Basically they take a Defender, fuck it up, and price it at $165k w/options. All the Defenders in their page are dressed in black, of course.

I don't care if it was Defender #1 and only had 3 miles on it, a Defender is not worth that much money. Much like a Land Cruiser.

Icon does outstanding work. I've been all up in those things, and you don't have to search to find the quality. If someone doesn't want to do their own stuff or it just make sense to pay someone else to get it done, it's a good option.

Cheers,

Their Defender didn't turn out that great ,IMO. If I were spending that kind of money on a Defender rebuild, I would go to ECR.
