Not been mentioned at all yet, but OME springs are not actually a 2" lift, its designed to lift 1.5" or 40mm, however it is a true 40mm even under load..... they will generally also outlast others.

On a sides note, I still find it amazing that some of the guys here have lifted more than 2" and have not extended the brake lines and ABS wires.........unless the springs they have chosen lift the car by 3" but the shocks installed dont allow any further axle travel which kind off defeats the purpose tbh.

You don't need to do the abs lines, at least on a D2, you can just re-route them. On one of my trucks I put front abs sensors in the rear because they have longer cables and still end up with a 5" coil to take up the slack. The rear sensors would work fine but I had these laying around.
The brake lines are so easy to do and inexpensive that I don't really get why you wouldn't do it either.

I did the GBR 3in OME springs for a D1 on my d2. It lifted the disco a little over 4in. Once I get sliders and front and rear bumper it should be right at 4in. Just the hight I was wanting. The ride is perfect for me. I also did remote res 7100

If you're looking to find out how the TerraFirma kit is, you'll all be disappointed to find out I had a change of heart and went with the 2" OME Medium Duty stuff.

If you still care how the thing turned out, then I can say the OME medium setup was the right call for me and my use. I do wish it was just a touch taller (like 1/2 inch) just purely for aesthetic reasons. The ride is fantastic off road and adequate on road but firm-ish coming from the car-like ride of the stock suspension. The E-range mud tires probably contribute to that too though... I do wonder what it would have been like with the TF stuff, but I'm very happy with the OME.

Put some RTE spring spacers in there.

PS--I saw you the other day on Federal Way, and no I wasn't flipping you off. I was waving with all five fingers

I have the OME HD fronts and rear on my disco and have the 32" KM2's on there. I am running the stock shocks and similar loads to what you are carying. The ride is near perfectly smooth and would not change a thing on it. No messing with anything!

My philosophy is to keep it as stock but capable as possible!

BTW here is a good link on OME spring info http://www.expeditionexchange.com/ome/indexsprings.php

My OME rides like shit. I realize alot of it is my Mudders, but even potholes jar the hell out of you. I'm thinking I need new shocks

Yeah, we saw you too. Took a minute to figure out who would be waving at me from the driver's seat of a straight-up luxury car. The driving lights gave you away though...
