BMW Z8 in the marina today. I've only seen 2 others... pretty neat
Parked next to it was a nice M3 (don't care for those wheels)

wow, such a beautiful car. There was one in a local BMW showroom and I'd stare at it every time I was in there....

Looks nice..... What's the competition on the MB side? SLK?

The Z8 is a Fisker design and it was produced for only a couple years around 2000-2002 or 2003. Its closest MB competition based on displacement, power, & price would be the new SL63 AMG...although the MB has it beat by over 100 hp and 100 lb-ft (that's what 9 years of product development gets you).

MB has such a huge product line....I'm always amazed when I surf their site. The AMG's are amazing machines. Not too sure about the QA/QC but then again who am I to talk as a repeat Rover owner...

The Z8 is one of the most beautiful cars ever built. They aren't actually much of a sporting vehicle, but my word, they look good and feel good cruising.

Just stay off the track and it's a hell of a ride.

Cheers,
