Hi Everyone!

I've got a weird one for you - 2000 Disco II, 52K miles. A couple of days ago, the heat started acting up. If the truck is cold and the interior temperature controls are active, the interior won't heat up unless the truck is driven. Worse, the temperature gauge shoots up to the red QUICKLY (even when the truck is cold), and then "something" (fan?) kicks in and the temperature gauge drops back down.

None of this happens if the heat/temperature controls are turned off (which is how I'm driving it at the moment).

Any ideas?

Thanks,
-Russ
