I need to figure out a way to mount snow skis on my adventure roof rack. Anyone have any good ideas or good pictures?

I have not tested it yet but I am going to try to get the clamp to fit products to Yakima racks. They are a round clamp. You could always just get the clamps and try it. they look to be the right size. Has anyone else tried this?

Back when I was thinking about buying an adventure rack I took a few of the Yakima clamps and tried them out on it and they were almost perfect, they were just a hair to big, I was planning on cutting an old bike intertube to make sure they stayed snug.

FWIW, YMMV, Yada, Yada and yada

THere are two other Yakima products that will work.
1) Use some Yakima Low Riders to mount some 56" Cross Bars to the Adventure Rack. Then use factory Yakima stuff .
2) Yakima and Thule both have a universal mount that fits most sizes of cross bars. Yakima uses it primarily as a way of Locking the Mega Warrior to the factory cross bars but its pretty universal.

I think the real question here is not, "how do I mount snow skis on my rack" but really, Why are you using skis when snowboarding is atleast 45 times(give or take 15) times better?
