i'm addressing this to oliver, but anyone else may chime in. i just replaced my heater core that had sprung a leak, but now i have a wet floorboard again on the passenger side (u.s.). before i tear into the dash again to check my heater core connections and o-rings, i am curious about the a/c drains you were referring to that also dump water in the floorboard. i am getting an antifreeze odor like before, but not as bad. also, the carpet is more wet than slimy, and the puddle under the passenger side doorsill isn't green like before. as i just noticed this on my way to work this morning, i haven't had time to (yet, again) pull the carpet up. this all sounds like the a/c drain problem you were citing, but why am i getting the antifreeze smell? what's your prognosis?
