When the temperatures start to drop in the winter, my 1996 Disco 1 does not want to accelerate up hills in fourth and especially fifth gear. When in fifth, this is especially true around 65-70 mph wherein the car and manual clutch shakes and I lose power. I changed the plugs and wires in the Fall (again) and it was running great until temps dropped in the 30s. In the last week, have also been having idling problems. Sometimes it idles high, and sometimes the idling drops low enough to stall out the vehicle at stops. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |
