I was tinkering under the hood one day and noticed a hose that is coming out of the left side (looking at the motor) of the valve cover was sucked flat like it was clogged or something. Like if you were to take a drinking straw and plug one end with your finger and suck on the other end. The hose is very flimsy so I replaced it with some rigid by the foot hose from auto zone. The engine idles really high in park 2000+. Like a brain donor I really don't know if it started idleing like this before or after I replaced the hose. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what would make the engine idle so high in park. It is almost perfect in gear. I have the manual adjust from the pedal as far open as it will go. Please help. |
