Thanks Robbie. I checked that out. Theoretically, I should be able to simply "plug and play". I'm swapping my air dam for a fog light air dam set-up. All of the neccessary hook ups should be there I would think. |

Think again. If the truck didn't come with fog lights from the factory, the fog light harness won't be there, either. |

Everything but the relay and auxillary light switch is there already, whether your truck came with fog lights or not. The under-hood connection can be found behind the headlights. The 5-pin connector for the lower dash switch is green and is already wired and can be found with some digging behind the dash (access from under the steering wheel; you'll need to remove the styrofoam bracket surrounding the steering collumn). The relay costs $7 for genuine LR, or you can go to Radio Shack and get one for $5. It plugs into the forward-most relay receptacle behind the driverside kick panel (it will be the only relay socket without the relay; there are three or four relays behind that kick panel). Truly plug-n-play. -Joe |
