I am considering using MTR 245/75's to replace my badly cupping stock Wrangler 255/65's. I have to park in a parking garage during the day, and have a Yakima roof rack, which results in less than an inch of clearance with the ceiling of the garage. Will using this tire size raise vehicle height enough that I would need to remove the rack?

the 255/65's that you have on now are 29.05 in diameter
245/75's are 30.46 in diameter so over an inch taller
it would be a very tight squeeze

(30.46 - 29.05)/2 = .705" taller, give or take a bit, depending on air pressure and stuff you have in the truck.
