I just got an ARB bumper on my Disco 1. The front end is noticeably lower than what it was before and my ride is worse. So now it is time for some new springs/shocks. I was thinking about running OME springs/shocks, but I have heard that I'll only get 1 inch of lift in the front with my ARB bumper and AB skid plate. So now I am considering Rovertym springs. Is anybody running RTE 2 inch springs with N115 OME Nitrocharger front shocks and N44 OME Nitrocharger rear shocks? From my assumption, I will have the same amount of flex as stock and maybe a little more with my rear sway bar disconnected, right? I searched the archives and came up empty.

Mel A,
I just switched from OME 751/781s to RTE 2" springs. I also installed new N115s and N44s. This setup is perfect for me!! I have the Landrover Winch brushbar with a Warn hanging on the front and a skidplate.....no problem for the RTEs. My OME springs were sagging so I switched. The RTEs made a huge difference. They leveled my truck and made the ride feel a lot better, stiffer but better!! I say do it....it is working awesome for me!!

Good luck!

Mel A.: I just put the OME HD's on last year. I was in the same boat, just put the $G bumper and winch on & the front end was drooping severly. My measurements from center of wheel to fender was 17.5" before and 19.5" after. This being said, you'll still get a little more lift out of the RTE springs.

As far as flex goes, you'll probably get a little less (other things constant) because the springs are stiffer so you'll get less stuff.

Thanks for the replies. Did any of you have drive line vibes with the new springs in? I am thinking about getting heavy-duty front springs and mediums in the back. I usually don't carry heavy loads, so the mediums should suit me fine.

Email John from RoverTym about the HD/MD setup. He can explain it to you well. My setup is a lighter spring in the front and a heavier spring in the rear not the other way around. And adding the RTE springs fixed my vibes because my OMEs were sagging pretty bad.
Good Luck
