I have seen the alum. coil spacers from RTE and like the way they lift the suspension BUT, As a lift what are the disadvantages to coil spacers?
They will obviously effect the shock lengths but that aside how do they effect ride and articulation?

Thanks

The ride won't be affected at all (unless added height produced vibrations in the drive line). The additional height will reduce downward articulation as stiffer springs will reduce upward articulation.

I run RTE 2" HD coils front and rear with 1" RTE spacers in the back to level the truck under load. Bilstein stock replacement shocks. I have a great ride and no vibrations at all. Just got back from Tellico and had more ground clearance and any other Disco there, and the truck performed very well in some tough axel twisting heavy articlation stuff.

Lift It!

I was also thinking of putting OME MD from the rear to the front for lift and using OME HD and spacers in the back to level it out.

How much lift comes from the MD's in the front with a ARB and winch up there?(as in fender to center of the wheel height) I currently have 19".
