I have a 96 Disco with a check engine light on and the following trouble code stored in the computer - PO441 (Evaporative Emission Control Sytem Incorrect Purge Flow).

I am assuming the trouble code is a result of a failed purge valve or plugged up charcoal canister. I did notice the purge valve sits next to the canister as a separate unit on my model. Should I replace the purge valve and the canister together or just the valve itself? How much do these parts normally go for at the dealer and in aftermarket? Any information anyone may have would be most welcome.

Thanks.
