Has anyone put subwoofers in the rear left and
right pockets behind the rear seat? I want to
upgrade to a better system and two 10's will look
awesome back there.

I currently just have a small box sitting in the back but have much bigger custom plans as I own a stereo shop in Tempe, Arizona. There was someone in the photo gallery that had some photos of a speaker box built in to one or both of the rear side pockets. Can't remember who tho, maybe someone else reading this will remember.

Pete, I have done just what you said. I have a 98 LSE and I have subs mounted in both pockets. I have two 10s and two 10" passive radiators. Check it out pics and info here:
