Just got mine back today, however I feel like i got ripped off. I was charged $570 for this service. Labor for 3.5 hours cost $311.50 for 3.5 hours.. The rest went to Parts.... Services performed: Oil change, fuel injection, washer fluid.. brake fluid, battery, coolant, gearlube, element, air cl.. Trans service, washer joint, o-ring auto trans, oil screen, gasket -zf gear... That's their general service description.. I feel like they didnt do everything from their list.. Opened my hood, found the brake fluid at MIN level, same as before.. My washer fluid isnt filled up... I cannot check other stuffs, but I dont think they did all. -------------- Anyone ever done all these yourself?? Is it possible for me to do in my garage.. what kind of tools would I need?? I can do the basic things like oil change, but the transmission stuff.. Not yet. |

Don't get me started.....All of these things and more can be done at home for less than $100 including the beer. |

in a way, i just want them doing the work until the 48,000 mile warranty is due. Im surprised they didnt replace the sparks and ignition coils. They're schedule at 60,000 miles. Should i replace them anyway?? |

Oh heavens no Kayla...your next "required" service interval is at 37.5k. Look in your little thin service record book and behold it is merely an oil & filter change...the rest is "inspect" a few doodads here and there. You stated you can do the oil change...the trick is after you do the work take the pig to your stealership and have them verify that you... the owner did the 37.5 service..make sure they stamp the book. Check your book, no spark plug or coil replacement at 30k. |

hey Todd, we're not in the same page here. Of course, the next maintenance service is at 37.5k.. I was talking about the spark plugs and ignition to be serviced at 60K miles. |
