i'm having trouble shifting into 4-low or going into diff lock in high of low on my '97 Disco. it doesn't seem to want to pop into gear. the annoying beeping that tells you you're in neutral doesn't seem to be working either. don't know how to better explain it other than i push the sjifter up and it fights me like the gears aren't lining up or something. no grinding of any sort. |

I have a 97 that was real hard to put in low. I don't think the previous owner ever used it, anyhow with the clutch in at a slow roll I could get it in low. It loosened up with use. Max |

I have found on my 98 DI that when its hard to put in rev the engine a little. Make sure you are on a level ground. Then try to push into low it has worked for me several times... |
