Just as good as the d1.Are the frames on the GEMS trucks on par with or better than the D1? Its kind of a big deal for me cause they salt the shit out of everything in the winter.
Just as good as the d1.
Hey Pinkytoe69, come down to the shop some time , I'm about 2 hrs south of you, love to show you around my shop.

I think he was saying scared of the P38.
That is what I understood, but it was too good of an opportunity to pass up.
The wife's grandparents are buried in platteville, so we are around Dubuque once or twice a year.
I will definitely keep this in mind the next time we drive down!
Where are you at. My son is going to the University of Minnesota Rochester next year. I'm going to be in Rochester next month for his first visit to the campus and see what kind of help with tuition he might be able to get. My wife is from Dubuque and I go there about as often as you say you do.
http://www.rangerovers.net/rrmkiiiremedies.htmlI bought a 99 P38 about 6 months ago (no secondary air), 105k. BMC in SF put a new block in it about 80K. Very clean. I caught the front wheel bearings needed replacement so I made the seller replace them. Has a spring conversion (still has the rest of the air suspension stuff on it if I go back)=. Fixed a few niggling things, put new tires on it. Runs like a top. Need to still fix things are a new blend motor on driver's side, valve cover gaskets. I missed a local one by a few hours that had 65k on it. Still pissed about that one getting away.
Rides OK (I'm sure the air would be way smoother), seats are way more comfy that the D1. So far I'm a happy camper.
If I ever get better I'm planning on a 2 inch lift winch bumper and winch and we'll go do some off roading.
